PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional game machine is lack of amusement because a player can not take out a prize from a rack during operation, moving freely, returning the prize to its original rack, because the machine has the structure of dropping the prize from a rack by tilting the rack, on which the prize is placed. SOLUTION: This prize display and payout device for the game machine is provided with a lifter for receiving the prize from an optional rack among plural racks for placing prizes and placing the prize on the rack, and the lifter is moved to the optional rack position by a driving mans. The lifter is tilted to pay out the prize on the lifter. The racks each have a bucket for holding the prize and the lifter moves this bucket. The racks are freely movable.
