PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the urine absorbing capacity of a pad type absorptive article. SOLUTION: The absorptive article for increasing the absorbing capacity characteristically has an opening provided in an impermeable back sheet contacting an absorption core and release paper arranged thereon through an adhesive layer and can be used in combination with a shorts type or pad type absorptive article.
