PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible tube for an endoscope capable facilitating insertion to a lumen. SOLUTION: An insert part flexible tube 1A is formed by a spiral tube 21, a net-like tube 22 for covering the outer periphery of the spiral tube 21, and a skin 3 for covering the outer periphery of the net-like tube. The skin 3 has a modified part 32 and an unmodified part 33 in the circumferential direction. The modified part 32 and the unmodified part 33 are formed of different materials in composition and physical properties. The modified part 32 is continuously and linearly formed extending over the substantially full length of the skin 3. The skin 3 is preferably formed by a multi-color forming method. Preferably the modified part 32 and the unmodified part 33 are different in color from each other.
