PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unidirectionally rotating twin-screw extruder being free from a mutual contact of metals and an excessive rise of temperature of a resin, while it is equipped with a plasticizing mixing part. SOLUTION: In the unidirectionally rotating twin-screw extruder, a first transfer part (T1) on the upstream side is constituted of double-start thread full-flighted screws (3 and 3') and a first mixing part (M1) on the downstream side thereof is constituted of a rotor and/or kneading disks (5 and 5'), while a second transfer part (T2) in the downstream end is constituted of the double- start thread full-flighted screws. On the downstream side of the first mixing part (Ml), a second mixing part (M2) is provided and this is constituted of full-engagement single-start wide thread full-flighted screws (10 and 10'). The diameter or outside diameter (d) of these screws is selected to be 86-96% of the bore (D) of an extruder cylinder (1 and 1'). |
