MANUFACTURING METHOD OF HYDRAULIC INORGANIC MOLDED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing precisely a raw molded body of a prescribed shape from a long raw plate molded by a plate making method or the like and moreover manufacturing a hydraulic inorganic molded body having a compact and smooth end face. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the hydraulic inorganic molded body comprises a rough cutting process wherein the raw plate obtained by shaping a hydraulic inorganic molding material is cut into a raw plate piece shaped to have an outer dimension rather larger in an uncured state than the dimension of a final product, a press molding process wherein the raw plate piece is pressed in the shape of the product between upper and lower press tools so as to mold a press-molded body and a finishing cutting process wherein the press-molded body is cut in dimensions of the final product so as to obtain the raw molded body. In the rough cutting process, the raw plate is cut into the raw plate piece shaped to have the outer dimension including a lug part having a lug width larger than the thickness of the cut peripheral edge part of the raw molded body obtained by cutting in the dimensions of the final product.
