PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve self-learning corresponding to a variety of characters, and reproduce the result of the learning. SOLUTION: A walking robot is provided with a changeable exterior module attached to a body of the robot. The exterior module is changed in accordance with condition in which the robot is used and a role. The exterior module includes external information for identifying a synaptic weight of a neural network. In response to the change of the exterior module, the synaptic weight is change over for use, and consequently, the character of the robot can be changed over quickly.
