PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress by which a lying posture being desirable for the back surface shape of a user is obtained without having a gap between the mattress and the waist part and without permitting the heavy back part or the buttocks to be sunk too much when the user lies on the mattress. SOLUTION: In the mattress providing method, the back surface shape of the mattress user is measured, the mattress is selected based on the obtained shape result, and the selected mattress is provided to the user.
