PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a cellulose acylate film excellent in mechanical properties and optical properties by improving the stability of a solution with the elapse of time. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the cellulose acylate film from a solution prepared by dissolving cellulose acrylate in a solvent substantially consisting of a non-chlorine type solvent, a solvent, of which the I/O value of 3.0-0.2, is used.
