PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled information providing device, provided with a means for displaying information, a means for generating voice and a means for printing the information, for providing the information by approaching a client or the like by self-running. SOLUTION: This device comprises a display 1, a loudspeaker 2, a printing section 3, a self-running driving section 4, a human body detecting section 5, a proximity sensor 6, a contact detecting section 7, a storage battery 8, a voltage detecting section 9, an IF section 10, a power source 11, a traveling mark reading section 12 and a control section 13. The control section 13 causes the self-running driving section 4 to cause a round of the device within in an installation site based on a read signal of the traveling mark reading section 12 and a detected signal of the proximity sensor 6, causes the display 1 to display the information and causes the loudspeaker 2 to output the voice.
