PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary wheel-type continuous extruder for efficiently manufacturing high-quality extruded products. SOLUTION: The rotary wheel type continuous extruder has, as a principal part, a base stock guiding path 7 which is formed by covering part of a groove 2 provided on the outer peripheral part of a rotary wheel 1 with inner peripheral surfaces of a fixed shoe 3 and die holder 4, an extruding chamber 8 which is opened to the base stock guiding path 7 and communicated with the outside, and an abutment 9 for closing the terminal part of the base stock guiding path 7. This rotary wheel type continuous extruder is provided with discharge grooves 10, 20 for discharging the surface part of a base stock on the inner peripheral surface 6 of the die holder 4 to the outside which constitutes the base stock guiding path 7. Since the surface part of the base stock on the side of the inner peripheral surface 6 of the die holder 4 is discharged from the discharge grooves 10, 20 to the outside of the device, the high-quality extruded product 12 is obtained, and pretreatment such as washing is made unnecessary. Thus this device has excellent productivity and the life of a die 13, mandrel 14 or the like is prolonged.
