WIRE ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire electric discharge machining method capable of certainly moving a wire from a connecting position to a machining restarting position at the time of recovering breaking of the wire even in the case when a machining condition is an alternating current electric power condition and capable of improving working efficiency. SOLUTION: The wire 2 is moved while supplying machining liquid as well as direct current electric power between the wire 2 and the work 15 while machining the wire under the previously specified machining condition at the time of moving the wire 2 from the connecting position to the remachining position in the case when the machining condition is the alternating current electric power condition at the time of recovering breaking of the wire.
