The disclosure relates to a method of producing crease-lined packaging material with a high degree of accuracy as regards the placing and forming of longitudinal crease lines. A web-shaped starting material (1) is provided, in connection with the laminate production, with a pattern of crease lines (6) extending at an angle to the longitudinal direction of the web, whereafter the material is divided into part webs (9).
