PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-hand hammer utilizing waste steel shots capable of reducing the fabrication costs owing to possibility to specify the weight of the hammer element part and establishing a silencing effect for beating sounds owing to the waste steel shots in pulverized/granular form. SOLUTION: The single-hand hammer utilizing waste steel shots is composed of a shank 1 and hammer element part 2, wherein the hammer element part is structured so that beating parts 2b and 2c are fitted tightly in the two openings in the trunk part 2a in cylindrical shape, and waste steel shots S of the specified weight are put in the internal space R of the hammer element part formed by the trunk part and beating parts.
