SOWING UNIT FOR GROWING SEEDLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sowing unit capable of sowing a prescribed number of seeds at correct positions accurately and surely while rotating a sowing roll and also continuously conveying a seedling-growing box. SOLUTION: This sowing unit has a conveying mechanism 3 for conveying the seedling-growing box 12 formed with many sowing holes 22 on its upper surface of floor soil by pushing for moving with a pushing for moving body 23 rotating as circulating in a constant pitch P and a sowing mechanism 7 for supplying by falling seeds N into the above sowing holes 22 by rotating a sowing roll 38 having seeds-housing recessed parts of the same number with the sowing holes at its outer circumferential surface as synchronized with the conveying mechanism 3. The sowing roll 38 of the above sowing mechanism 7 has a time for 1 rotation which is the same as the pitch- transferring time of the pushing for moving body 23, and the above seed-housing recessed parts 44 are formed one by one as corresponding to the sowing holes 22 from a position of its circumferential surface corresponding to the sowing hole 22 at the most rear part position of the floor soil of the seedling-growing box 12 engaged with the pushing for moving body 23 to a position of the circumferential surface corresponding to the sowing hole 22 at the most frontal part position of the floor soil.
