PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing equipment, with which a monochrome image can be obtained in a specified region and an alarm can be issued when the color for the monochrome image is not equipped so as to eliminate a fruitless printing work. SOLUTION: In a printing equipment, in which a plurality of plate cylinders 2 and 3 for executing printing treatment with colors different from each other and plate making devices 4 and 4' of masters corresponding to the plate cylinders 2 and 3 are equipped so as to allow to execute printings with a plurality of colors by windingly installing masters for forming images with colors different from each other made by the plate making devices 4 and 4', image reading means 24 for executing image reading necessary for the plate makings and printing editing means 25 for specifying the printing modes of the images read by the image reading means 24, image color detecting means for detecting the colors of the printing images in the respective plate cylinders 2 and 3 and a controlling part 22, to the input side of which the printing editing means 25 and the image color detecting means 23 are connected and to the output side of which an alarming displaying means 26 are connected, are equipped so as to execute printing treatment, by selecting the plate making means 4 and 4' or the plate cylinders 2 and 3 corresponding to information sent from the printing editing means 25.
