PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative type original film for a lithographic plate which has high sensitivity and is excellent in plate wear even under severe printing conditions and further which enables formation of an image by scanning exposure by a laser light or the like in a short time and enables making of the plate by a simple operation of water development or by direct fitting thereof on a press without necessitating the development. SOLUTION: The original film has a hydrophilic layer having a reactive functional group and an image forming layer provided thereon and containing a compound that can be bonded chemically to the reactive functional group by heat or an acid. It is preferable that the reactive functional group is at least any one of an amide group, a hydroxyl group and an acid group. |
