PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely protect a female screw with high reliability and quickly after installation of a rivet. SOLUTION: The method relates to protection of a female screw 7 of a blind rivet 2 at a time of a second stage work, especially at a time of coating. A mandrel 9 having a male screw 12 is attached to the female screw 7 and the mandrel 9 is used for fastening a blind rivet 2 in an object 1 to be processed by riveting during a first stage work and remains in the female screw of the blind rivet during the second stage work so as to prevent damages. |
