PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a unidirectionally rotating twin-screw extruder that although it is used widely as an extruder of many sorts of materials, because of its excellence in mixing and dispersion of the extruded material and its extrusion in a stable amount, the amount of biting of the material in a supply part of the extruder often limits the amount of extrusion on the occasion when a fine powder resin having a small apparent specific gravity, a plastic material containing a large amount of fine powder or the like is extruded. SOLUTION: In the present unidirectionally rotating twin-screw extruder, an air vent is provided at two or more places of a barrel on the upstream side of a material supply opening and a vent port is provided in the barrel on the downstream side of the opening, while a chip clearance between the barrel and a screw is made the smallest in a material discharge part (A) and made the same in a material melting part (B) and in the material supply part (C) or made larger in (B) than in (C). By using this extruder, a resin composition is extruded, while the air contained in the material is removed, in this method. |
