PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable ink jet recording apparatus which is made compact, light-weight and reduced in cost. SOLUTION: The ink jet recording apparatus for forming images by discharging ink from ink discharge nozzles to a medium to be recorded is provided with a carriage scanned along guide shafts and a recording head having the ink discharge nozzles. Ink chambers are integrally formed in the carriage, and a heater board is integrally set to the carriage so that the ink chambers communicate with the ink discharge nozzles. The guide shafts of a pair pass both end parts of the carriage to be orthogonal to an array of the discharge nozzles via the discharge nozzles. Moreover, the ink jet recording apparatus is applied to a printer of a camera in which the printer is built. |
