PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a print head simply and accurately. SOLUTION: A thermal head 12 prints a test pattern 22 where a dot pattern printed by heating elements 12a and 12z at the opposite ends is formed differently from a dot pattern printed by other heating elements 12b through 12y. Since the dot pattern printed by the heating elements 12a and 12z at the opposite ends is formed differently from the dot pattern printed by other heating elements 12b through 12y, opposite end positions of a printed test pattern 22 can be grasped definitely and the thermal head 12 can undergo GO/NO-GO test simply and accurately. |
