PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the burden to be exerted on the shoulder, elbows, wrists, or the like, of a pitcher when the pitcher throws a ball by providing a rubber ball for baseball played with a hard rubber ball which is largly changed in the loci of the thrown ball even if the rotation to be exerted to the ball is little. SOLUTION: The rubber ball for the baseball played with the hard rubber ball is constituted by forming continuous belt-like projecting parts 2 disposed like the stitches of a ball for regulation baseball on the peripheral surface of a rubber ball body. Further, the top surfaces of these belt-like projecting parts 2 are provided with stitch-like projecting parts 3 having prescribed intervals.
