PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven slide fastener stringer whose pitch between neighboring engaging element parts is stabilized to obtain strong fixing between engaging element rows and easiness of stable engaging with and releasing from the counterpart engaging element row. SOLUTION: Continuous element rows ER made of synthetic resin monofilament are orderly woven into a fastener tape along one side edge part by plural parallel fixing warps 3-8 simultaneously with weaving the fastener tape. Among plural parallel fixing warps 3-8, at least one or more fixing warps 7, 8 placed to the connecting part RC side are constituted of monofilament to set the fastening force of engaging element part E by the fixing warps 7, 8 to the connecting part RC side is larger than the fastening force of the engaging part by the fixing warps 3 to 6 to the engaging head part EH side.
