PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and efficiently making a tumor cell specimen (a metaphase image) for chromosome analysis by aggressively inducing division growth of the tumor cells by using a medium containing plural cytokines, and further to provide an method for analyzing the tumor cell chromosome by utilizing the method. SOLUTION: This method for making the tumor cell chromosome specimen is characterized in that the tumor cells are cultured in a medium containing a factor at least stimulating gp130 protein, and interleukin-3 so as to be proliferated, and the proliferated cells are formed into the specimen.
