PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct heat-sensitive recording material which has excellent gradation and forms a silver image with a neutral color tone and has excellent stability of non-image parts. SOLUTION: The direct heat-sensitive recording material characterized by having a recording layer containing a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a binder and o-sulfoneamidephenol or its derivative or amidephenol or its derivative as a reducing agent on a substrate is provided.
