PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling gene expression by on-off control of the expression of the target gene, and further to provide an antisense reagent usable in the method and having high in-vivo stability. SOLUTION: This method comprises controlling the function for gene translation of a DMA complex by controlling the bond of the DNA complex obtained by connecting a single stranded DNA bonded to the target site of the gene with a stimulation-responsible polymer, to the gene by an external stimulation to control the function for inhibiting gene translation of the DNA conjugate.
