<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a printer system wherein an operation panel of a printer can be readily changed and the system can be readily and remotely operated from a PC(personal computer) of a user. SOLUTION: This system is constituted of a controller (an image scanner or the like is controlled by a printer and an option), the printer comprising the operation panel having an HTTP daemon + HTML, a proxy and a WWW browser mounted thereon, the PC (including a dedicated application + a GUI operating screen and the HTTP daemon + HTML) capable of communicating with the operation panel and a LAN. The operation panel can switch between the PC and the controller of the printer to be connected thereto.</p> |
