PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying a nucleic acid in high washing efficiency without producing contamination and without leaving liquid in nozzle chip, and further to provide a purification apparatus. SOLUTION: This method for purifying the nucleic acid is characterized in that a washing liquid is fluidized from the head part to the tip part thereof in one direction in the chip containing a solid phase having the captured nucleic acid in the inside. The purification apparatus is also provided.
