PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable liquid storing container with a stable performance, capable of achieving miniaturization in an inexpensive ink supplying configuration in a pit-in-ink supply method, and a liquid supplying device and a liquid supplying method for supplying a liquid thereto. SOLUTION: A liquid storing container comprising a liquid supplying opening connected with a main tank and a gas-liquid separating member communicating with the atmosphere, provided in a part of the liquid storing container, to be mounted integrally with a carriage movable with a recording head such that the liquid supplying opening and the main tank can be connected in the case the carriage is at a predetermined position so as to supply a liquid from the main tank to the liquid storing container, with a water-repelling treatment provided on the inner wall of the liquid storing container and the liquid storing container inner surface side of the gas-liquid separating member, and a liquid supplying device and a liquid supplying method for supplying a liquid to the liquid storing container according to miniaturization of the liquid storing container, are provided. |
