PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rise of a chair for nursing care when the chair changes from a sitting position to a standing position or lying position. SOLUTION: When a moving shaft 33 of a complex bearing 32 is moved upper right ward in one direction along a circular-arc centered at a crank shaft hole from the sitting position of a functional chair for nursing care, the chair rises gradually from the sitting position to be in a standing position. Contrary to this, when the shaft 33 is moved along the circular-arc in a reverse direction, the chair changes to the sitting position from the standing position again. Then, when an upper shaft hole 20 of a left rotation rod 19 or a lifting shaft hole 18 of a footrest 15 is pulled up, the footrest 15 changes from a vertical position to a horizontal position, the link shaft hole of the footrest 15 pulls the left shaft hole of a link beam and the right shaft hole of the link beam pulls the lower shaft of a backrest of a backrest frame to permit the backrest frame to be inclined and the chair changes to a reclining position. Furthermore, the moving position of the moving shaft 33 goes on, and a plate cam 52 is additionally provided to prevent the floating when the chair is in the lying position.
