PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air supply and water supply apparatus of an endoscope capable of supplying air for expanding an organ at pressure suitable for it, and supplying air for blowing off water drops on the surface of an observation window automatically at high pressure without regulating the air supply pressure to obtain a favorable endoscope observation image. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with air supply pressure switching means 22, 23 for switching the pressure of supplied air supplied to an air supply and water supply nozzle 5 and a water supply operation detecting means 25 for detecting the execution of water supply operation in the air supply and water supply operating device, whereby when the execution of the water supply operation is detected by the water supply operation detecting means 25, the air supply pressure switching means 22, 23 put the pressure of supplied air supplied to the air supply and water supply nozzle 5 in a high pressure state within the switching range only for a fixed time from the end of water supply operation.
