PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing a plastic molded product having high accuracy. SOLUTION: A pair of molds 1 having surfaces, at least one of which has a transfer surface, demarcating a cavity is used and a molten resin is injected in the molds 1 held to temperature below the softening temperature of the mold and resin pressure is generated to allow the resin to adhere to the transfer surface and the resin is cooled to a temperature below its melting temparature. In this cooling process, gaps are formed between the molds 1 containing a cavity piece 2 and the surface of the resin in the cavity and the heat conductance of at least one resin surface among the resin surfaces being in contact with the gaps is lowered as compared with the resin surface being in contact with the other mold 1.
