PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printing method using an ink-jet recording element having a short drying time or a high image density. SOLUTION: The ink-jet printing method includes a process in which an ink-jet printer which responds to a digital signal is prepared, an ink permeable polyester base material including a base polyester layer and an ink permeable upper part polyester layer is included, the upper part polyester layer includes a continuous polyester phase having an ink absorption speed to adjust a drying time within 10 s and a total absorbance of at least 14 cm3/m2, the base material sets the ink-jet recording element supporting a porous image receiving layer having voids connected with each other in the printer, an ink-jet ink composition is set in the printer, and printing is done on the ink-jet recording element in response to the digital data signal by using the ink-jet ink. |
