PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant feather quilt which (a) suppresses the movement of feathers between the front fabric and rear fabric of the quilt and (2) does not accumulate the smells of the sweat, etc., in spite of long-time use and does not afford an uncomfortable feel to a handling person. SOLUTION: The first invention is the deodorant feather quilt which is formed by mounting net-like partitions like grids between both fabrics of a bag formed of the front fabric and the rear fabric to form a plurality of small segment cells between both fabrics and packing the feathers into these small segment cells and is formed by adhering a deodorant composition consisting of an iron (II) compound as an effective component to the surfaces of the threads constituting the net-like partitions and the second invention is the method for manufacturing the deodorant feather quilt.
