PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biologically active cement composition which can be directly bonded to a natural bone, is high in mechanical strength, is good in the durability in a living body and is good in workability. SOLUTION: This cement composition consists of biologically active powder which consists of glass or crystallized glass containing Ca and is subjected to silane coupling treatment, polymethacrylate powder, methacrylate monomer, a polymerization initiator and a polymerization accelerator. The amt. of adhesion of a silane coupling agent is 0.01 to 0.10 mass% of the biologically active powder. |
