PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress which can prevent the propagation of bacterial and the occurrence of a bedsore when a sick person or a bedridden person perspires while sleeping and the sweat remains without being dried and can prevent the bacteria considered to be the cause for smells. SOLUTION: Bioceramic chips of a cylindrical shape and spherical cylindrical shape are respectively put into net-like bags (Figures A, B and C) made of polyester, etc., in the upper segment of an air mat. The amount of the chips may be regulated from inlet and outlet ports and may therefore be set at desired hardness. As a result, spaces are made at all times between the body and the quilt so as to prevent the mattress from coming into tight contact with the body. |
