PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of an unnecessary ink mist in accordance with a flushing operation and prevent a specific ink component from piling to a flushing region. SOLUTION: A porous member 21 is set to a face opposite to a recording head of a flushing box 11 disposed to the flushing region. The porous member 21 has a central part bent into a state in which the part slightly sinks. The porous member 21 also has opening parts 22, 23 and 24 formed thereto. Ink drops discharged from two recording heads in accordance with the flushing operation fly to positions indicated by virtual lines 4a, 4b and 4c, and 5a, 5b and 5c and are captured. Since the porous member 21 has the central part bent and is inclined, an ink easy to pile is mixed with an ink had to pile while discharged to the upstream side, and dropped in a gravity direction through the opening parts formed to the porous member 21. |
