PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a polyester resin sheet of high quality with high productivity. SOLUTION: A polyester resin, of which the specific permittivity at the time of melting is 6 or more and the specific volume resistivity at the time of melting is 5×106-1012Ω.cm, is discharged from a cap in a molten state to form a sheet and this sheet is charged by the application of voltage to the electrode arranged above the sheet and the charged sheet is brought into contact with a solid cooling body to be cooled to obtain a polyester resin sheet. This sheet is successively stretched biaxially to obtain a stretched sheet.
