The present invention provides fast, semi-dry photographic film processing systems and methods. According to the invention, film is at least partially developed sing a liquid or paste developing agent, but is not bleached, fixed or washed, prior to a scanning step which scans the least partially developed images in the film. Advantages of this type of film processing include a reduction in processing time and reduced handling of hazardous materials and improved pollution control. |
