PURPOSE: Provided is a rubber composition for tires, which has improved anti-fatigue property and contains zinc 2-mercaptotoluimidazole (ZMTI) and a carbon black as a reinforcing agent. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition contains 100phr of a raw rubber, 55-62phr of the carbon black, and 1.25-2.0phr of the ZMTI represented by the formula, wherein X is a methyl group bonded to the ortho-, meta-, or para-position of a benzene ring. The ZMTI is an accelerator producing a large amount of mono-sulfides or di-sulfides and preventing the generation of polysulfides in a vulcanizing process.
