PURPOSE: To provide a semiconductor memory which is easily highly integrated. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor memory 100 is provided with regions 10, 20, 21-24, 30. The region 10 comprises memory cell arrays 11, 12, an input/output circuit band 13, column decoders 14, 15, and a row decoders 16. The input/output circuit band 13 is arranged between the memory cell array 11 and the memory cell array 12. The input/output circuit band 13 inputs and outputs selectively data in/from the memory cell array 11 and the memory cell 12.
