PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas liquid separator being excellent in gas liquid separation performance in the case a gas injection cycle is formed. SOLUTION: In a small air conditioner for a domestic use etc, the diameter of the cylinder body of the gas liquid separation cylinder is set to 40-55 mm and a ratio between the inner cross section of a refrigerant chamber and the inner cross section of a refrigerant pipe is set to 12-20. This constitution enables improvement of separation performance of the gas liquid separator and improvement of COP (capacity/input) of the air conditioner.
