PURPOSE: A three-dimensional image display, a display method and program for display are provided to display a three-dimensional image based on the anatomical reference surface and to produce an image of good reproducibility. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional image is structured and displayed based on multisection-tomography image data. An anatomical landmark of the displayed three-dimensional image is specified, and a reference surface is created according to the landmark. When the reference surface is created, position correction and display is carried out so that the three-dimensional image is an image based on the reference surface. Thus, the three-dimensionally displayed image is an image based on the anatomical reference surface, and therefore the image is three-dimensional and anatomical.
