PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor that can properly conduct color conversion of image data for many kinds of paper sheets without increasing a load on an image output terminal such as a host computer and a printer. SOLUTION: The printer 3 informs the host computer 2 about a kind of paper sheet. The host computer 2 retrieves a profile corresponding to the kind of paper sheet in response to the notice, this profile is converted into a color rendering dictionary, and the color rendering dictionary is transmitted to the printer 3. The printer 3 uses the color rendering dictionary to convert image data so that the image data are in matching with the paper sheet and prints out the image expressed by the converted image data onto the paper sheet. |
