PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system for efficiently outputting result of image processing, by deciding user certification and the authorized limit of the right to use, by recognizing an image to input, and by connecting it to a communication network. SOLUTION: A database server 2 is disposed on a communication network 1 in this image processing system, and the image processing system 4 is composed of an input device 20 to capture an image input by a scanner and the like, and an output device 20 to output a processed image by printing and the like. The input device 10 is composed of an image capture part 11, an image-recognizing part 12 to carry out image recognition by an OCR and the like, a user authenticating part 13 to carry out user authentification from the result of the image recognition, and a transmitting part 14 to transmit the result of the user certification and the image recognition over the communication network 1. Resources over the communication network can be conveniently used, without user authentification by a calculator and the like, by directly carrying out user authentification on the image processing system 4, using the image recognizing part 12. |
