PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce assembling work man-hours and to realize improvement of connecting strength and extension of uses by simplification of external appearance, in a device for connecting and fixing a metal square member by forming the material into an orthogonal shape. SOLUTION: Cut first and second square members 1 and 2 of first and second engaging-fitting prevention groove lines 1b and 2b are allowed to abut in an orthogonal shape, and first and second engaged and fitted parts 3a and 3b of an inner joint 3 are floated, engaged and fitted into the first and second engaging-fitting prevention groove lines 1b and 2b in the connecting corner part 6. An outer joint 4 constituted of a back plate part 4a and a right angle triangular two-side plates 4b and 4c is fitted into the inner joint 3, a screw rod 5 for fastening is screwed in a screw hole 3c for fastening of the inner joint 3 from a passing port 4f of the back plate part 4a toward a corner 6a, the first and second engaged and fitted 3a and 3b are strongly pressed on the first and second engaging-fitting prevention groove lines 1b and 2b, and first and second pressing end edge parts 4d and 4e of the back plate part 4a are strongly pressed and fixed on the first and second square members 1 and 2. |
