PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt with a guiding boss portion capable of easily being manufactured at low cost, and suppressing increasing of bolt weight and raw material, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: A bolt original body 1A provided with a rod-shaped shaft portion 3A having a uniform diameter is subjected to drawing work. At a tip end portion of the shaft portion 3A, a guiding boss portion 4 having a diameter smaller than the diameter D2 of the shaft portion 3A and the inner diameter D3 of a female screw 5 is formed, and a recessed part 41 is formed on a tip end surface of the guiding boss portion 4.
