PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication equipment, and a radio wave origination stopping system using the same, capable of using other functions, even if it receives communication limitations. SOLUTION: The radio wave origination stopping system 10 comprises a portable telephone 12, and the telephone 12 is connected to a telephone server 20 via a radio base station 14, a portable telephone network 16 and a public telephone network 18. When a user, carrying the telephone 12 enters a radio regulation district 30 for limiting a radio wave origination, an administrator base station 28 senses it, and outputs a stop signal for stopping the call function to the telephone 12. The telephone 12 stops a power supply to a transmitter/ receiver circuit, in response to the stop signal, and disables only the communicating functions. Meanwhile, when the user leaves from the district 3, the station 28 outputs an enabling signal for enabling the radio wave origination. Accordingly, the telephone 12 supplies power to the transmitter/receiver circuit to enable communication. The functions except the communicating function can be used, since only the communicating function is disabled, even if it is limited by the radio wave origination.
