<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for charging a backup battery. SOLUTION: When an AND circuit 5 receives a HIGH-level signal from power supply units 11 and 12, the AND circuit outputs a HIGH-level signal to switches 101 to 104 and a controller 6. The gates of the switch circuits 101 to 104 are turned on by this HIGH-level signal, and further the controller 6 turns on the gates of the switches 105 and 106 in power lines to the backup battery 4. As a result, power as the energy to spare of the power supply units 11 and 12 is used for charging.</p> |
