<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device for internal combustion engine having a connection structure with an ignition coil to an ignition plug making it hard to produce, by vibration, a variation in a contact resistance or interruption of a conductive route for applying an igniting high voltage produced by the ignition coil to the ignition plug. SOLUTION: A connection electrode 31 electrically connected to one end of the secondary winding of the ignition coil 27 is provided on the forward inner side of a casing part 33. The connection electrode 31 is formed into a cylindrical shape, and comprises an elastic part 31a formed in a curved shape having an elasticity in the radial direction toward the center axis of a cylinder. The incoming terminal 13 of the ignition plug 11 is inserted from the forward side of the casing part 33, and disposed in the cylindrical part 31d of the connection electrode 31. Thus, the incoming terminal 13 of the ignition plug 11 comes into contact with the connection electrode 31, and the incoming terminal 13 of the ignition plug 11 is electrically connected to one end 27a of the secondary winding of the ignition coil 27 to form the conductive passage.</p> |
