PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a transmission-type screen of high resolution and high grade which facilitates thickness control of a light diffusion layer and is free of anti-dazzle and has high resolution. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the transmission-type screen laminated and integrated with the light diffusion layer, consisting of a translucent resin containing a light diffusion material on one surface of a translucent resin plate consists in supplying a light diffusion sheet-like material consisting of the translucent resin containing the light diffusion material on the surface of the raw material for the translucent resin plate is supplied to a substrate and swelling and/or dissolving at least part of the sheet-like material by the raw material for the translucent resin plate, then polymerizing the raw material for the translucent resin plate to form the translucent resin plate and laminating and integrating the light diffusion sheet-like material on one surface of the translucent resin plate.
